Drawing up technical specifications

Drawing up a floor plan
Make a detailed plan of the room indicating the size of the rooms, the thickness of the walls, window and door openings, etc. The more detailed the plan you have, the easier it will be to make various calculations, determine the location of wiring, switches and sockets, plan zoning, furniture placement, etc. d.
Make several copies of the plan, as you will need them later. Use each copy for one type of work. By comparing them, it will be convenient for you to coordinate your further actions when carrying out repairs.
Of course, you can leave the apartment plan on the computer, but even in this case it is still better to print it out - this way it will be easier and more visual to work with the copies.
Design of a small apartment: saving space
Small-sized apartments require more attention than an ordinary apartment, because the owners want to realize all their desires in their design. And, besides, it is important not to overdo it in your efforts and not to turn the apartment into some kind of showroom for some kind of reality show.

DIY for a girl's room: reminder board

The most reasonable solution is to create a single style for the entire house. Moreover, for those who cannot choose, you can rely on eclectic trends that combine several styles within one. This is historicism, including the Victorian style, or newer interpretations, such as fusion.
Agree, one eclectic style for the entire apartment is not the same as several separate styles in different rooms, even if these individual styles, when mixed, make up one eclectic one.

First, take a pen, a ruler, and a piece of blank paper and draw out the layout of your home. First the partitions, and then the furniture. The way you want it all to be positioned. You may object: “What about the scale? What about the proportions? That’s right, that’s what “secondly” is for. - You go to the nearest trash heap. You find a bunch of cardboard there. You may have to go several times to collect the required amount. Take a tape measure, a marker and scissors and cut out the profile of your future furniture on a scale of 1:1 from cardboard in real sizes. Furniture dimensions can be viewed on the Internet. As you might guess, after this you place this cardboard on the floor and walk around it as you would around real furniture.
What have you forgotten? That's right, partitions. If you don't already have them, get appropriately sized boards or draw on the floor with chalk if the floor is level enough. In one of the new buildings, I saw how they took a string, laid it on the floor, and pressed it down with a brick on top. Also an option.
Accordingly, if you have laid out furniture templates and made, albeit virtual, partitions, walk around your virtual home. Imagine it's real. Think about where the switches will be and where the sockets will be. Make sketches on paper or chalk marks on the wall if the first thing you will be doing is electrical. Presenting even some poorly made drawings on paper is better than just coming and explaining the ideas to the builders in words. Either you will forget something or they will mix something up. Then you will have to redo it or live with what happens.
