round foam plastic (a diameter of 5.5 to 6 centimeters is suitable);
foamiran with glitter;
tulle;
jewelry (half beads, rhinestones, cabochons);
white satin ribbon 2.5 centimeters wide;
silver brocade with a width of 6 millimeters.

Glue one part of the strip at the bottom of the ball. We form a pattern and secure it with needles. We twist the spiral and glue the second end of the strip. It is easier to twist the spiral using tweezers. We remove the needles and glue the material to secure the shape.
We continue to apply stripes of the main color. After this we will add other shades. We place each subsequent shade of foamiran next to the previous one. We form patterns over the entire surface.
After the patterns are ready, proceed to decorating the top of the New Year's ball. Let's make bows. Cut off eleven centimeters of brocade and ribbon. We burn their edges. Fold the ends in the center from the wrong side and stitch with thread. Pull the material together and sew a rhinestone in the center.
We will make a fastening for the ball from narrow brocade. We cut off seventeen centimeters of material. We tie the edges and tighten the knot well. Attach the ribbon at the top of the balloon using hot glue. Press the parts well. All that remains is to attach the bows on both sides.
