How to create figures from balloons
It doesn’t take much time to decorate the shape of a spruce tree, especially if you have a hand pump for inflating balloons or a special compressor.
On the one hand, such a craft is safe: the child will not stumble upon the needles with his eyes, will not swallow them, and will not be scratched. On the other hand, with the ardor of a young explorer, a child can joyfully devour the original product
To make a figure you need a large number of balls of the desired color and diameter. The diameter is indicated on the packaging. From a reputable manufacturer, the balls are durable and will not burst at the most inopportune moment like an explosion.
Depending on the type and volume of the balloon, a New Year's figure is obtained
If balls in green colors are often chosen for the base, then any colors and shades are used for decoration.
The point of the work is to assemble a single figure from many inflated products. For coupling, they use the twisting method, tie the ends with tape or braid, and sometimes use double-sided tape.

We assemble a Christmas tree from round balls of different diameters
The most typical Christmas tree is made from round balls.
Using different diameters from larger to smaller, you can assemble tier by tier
What do you need for work?
Let’s prepare a pack of green balls with a diameter of 5″ and 10″, modeling balls (preferably brown or green) size 260, and braid.
If you don’t want to inflate everything with your lungs, we include a hand pump in the working kit
How to collect a Christmas tree
If you act slowly, then in an hour or two there will be a gorgeous green (well, or the color your soul asked for) Christmas tree on the floor or table. So, first we inflate several balloons with a diameter of 10″. For each ball we make nine strokes with the pump.
We do not inflate the ShDM completely
We make eight small oblong bubbles by twisting the BDM around itself
We begin to attach the largest round balls. To do this, we wind the first ball between the bubbles. Then we immediately wind the second one. To make the fastening reliable, we will create another bubble on the grinder and twist it with the first ball.
We screw on a large ball one by one, make a bubble and twist them into a hitch. In total, we get eight large balls on the first row. We burst the rest of the long ball and twist it with large balls for reliability.
Let's repeat the same manipulations, with the difference that we will connect the tip of the grinder to the first row. The bubbles themselves on the ShDM should be round. We inflate round balloons for seven working strokes of a hand pump. We pass a ribbon between the first and second rows in a zigzag pattern for fastening and stability of the structure.
Let's make 8 smaller bubbles again.
We take balls with a diameter of 5″, for each we make 5 pump strokes. The third and fourth rows are assembled similarly to the first two
For the fifth tier we use 7 balls of the same size as in the previous row. In order to collect them, you first need to tie two balls together, trying to mark the knot at a decent distance from the balls
We make a second such two and twist them together, getting 4 elements. There are three balls left - we will twist them into a bunch and attach them to the previous four. Using braid, we attach the hitch to the fourth tier.
We inflate five small balloons using four strokes of the pump and tie them together. Having connected two balls, we connect them to the fifth row. We also connect the remaining three with the fifth tier
The seventh row is made from balls twisted together, inflated for only three pump strokes. We connect this one with the previous tier using braid. On the eighth row we inflate 4 balls for 2 moves.
To complete the work, we need one element for three pump strokes

We inflate the green balloons, but not all the way - leave about 6 cm.
We take a green “sausage”, measure three fingers from the edge and twist it in this place, getting a small “sausage”.
We make a second twist of the same type and twist both elements with the main one.
Twist a small little bubble.
We measure four fingers and twist them.
We repeat the previous steps. We pierce the rest of the main element and tie a tail.
It turns out one tier of the future Christmas tree.
Now our not very appetizing sausage will be equal to 4 fingers.
And we also make the bubble larger than in the previous tier.
By repeating all the steps, we obtain a tier of different sizes from each SDBM. We connect them in series using the remaining tails.
We make 4 small bubbles from the red ShDM. Three of them are connected to each other by twisting.
We make 4 more bubbles, connecting the last three together. In this way we create a five-pointed star. We twist the last ball, tear off the rest for the tail very carefully (we need the inflated rest of the ball) and tie the structure together.
From the inflated remainder we twist two bubbles, connect them together, now we will burst the rest of the ball and get a tail. This tail will serve as a connecting link for the center of the star. You can hang decorations on the Christmas tree.
We inflate the ShDM for beads: we twist the bubbles sequentially. We attach the upper part to the star and stretch it to the base of the Christmas tree. So, we decorate the entire tree sequentially. |

We pour water into one ball - we will need it to make the structure heavier and more stable. We make a hitch of 5 larger balls and tie a weighting agent to them from below. We will tie a long ShDM (160) to the center of the hitch. He will serve as our link.
We make the second tier from the same parts, but without the weighting material. We tie the row to the base using ShDM. We collect row by row in this way, gradually using smaller balls. We make the top tier from five small balls.
We take the star and inflate it with a pump.
We choose the colors we need and inflate small balloons.
For attachment we use double-sided tape. We glue the decorations and admire the work. |
